NAPIT Registration is authorised by the Department of Communities and Local Government (DCLG) and the Welsh Government to operate Competent Person Schemes. Along with a Third Party Certification Scheme (England only). This means that NAPIT complies with strict Conditions of Authorisation and maintains certain obligations to members.
NAPIT Certification is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) to confirm our robust and compliant operation of Competent Person Schemes, as well as the Microgeneration Certification Scheme and Energy Efficiency Installer Schemes. UKAS accreditation ensures the technical competence and integrity of the services we provide in line with industry requirements that apply equally to all operators of such membership schemes.
As a TrustMark scheme operator we have a proven commitment to raising industry standards and NAPIT Registered Installers can join TrustMark's database of tradespeople with no additional assessment.
