Codebreakers BS 7671:2018 - Electrical Industries Awards 2019 Finalist
NAPIT’s industry-leading EICR Codebreakers Guide has been selected as a finalist for the Electrical Industry Awards 2019!
This follows after a very successful year for Codebreakers which was updated in Autumn 2018 to align with BS 7671:2018 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations and was crowned Professional Electrician’s Product of the Year!
The first edition of the publication was released in 2017 and also made the finalist spot for the awards last year, but since then has been extended and now includes more information to guide contractors, inspectors, and clients through the pitfalls of this highly technical area of the industry including hundreds of additional observations and codes, as well as new information directly tailored for the social housing sector.
Codebreakers has received a great response from the industry with Cato Electrical Services saying: "I had heard good things about the Codebreakers Guide, now I have finally got my copy I would suggest that this needs to be a mandatory item for anybody carrying out EICRs. Very clear and easy to use."
Dan Jackson added "The NAPIT Codebreakers book is an industry leading guide on coding which beats any similar document. It is a must have for electricians."
NAPIT’s Chief Executive, Michael Andrews said: "We are incredibly proud that our updated Codebreakers Guide has been recognised for the Electrical Industry Awards ‘Trade Tool of the Year’ category once again. The updated publication has not only been updated to comply with the 18th Edition of the Wiring Regulations, but it has also had input from a range of professionals across the industry in addition to NAPIT’s senior technical team. This is what makes the guide so in depth and reliable for any electrician, inspector, contractor or client using it. We wanted to help provide a standard for the industry to use to avoid inaccuracies and prevent potentially dangerous mistakes."
NAPIT’s Codebreakers Guide is available to order online exclusively as print publication for both NAPIT members and non-members at www.napitdirect.co.uk/ssc/all-napit-publications-books. NAPIT members are eligible to purchase the digital version of the book as an additional member benefit.
